1st finished sweater

I finished seaming Nathan's sweater during his nap today. Okay, so my seaming skills suck, but I have to start somewhere. I did figure out mattress stitch, which worked out great for the sides, but it was attaching the sleeves where it didn't get too pretty. I also wish I would have made the body a bit longer because I extended the sleeves a bit, but only added a bit to the body. nathan will be wearing it a lot the next month or so because it won't fit him next year (like I had planned).
I also started working on a scarf for the Red Scarf Project. There is a drop off location at the Einsteins bagel shop that is in the same shopping center as Recollections. I'm working next Wed so I figure I can easily drop it off then. I picked out Woolease Thick and Quick and am just doing a K3,P3 ribbing. it is going so fast, I'm hoping to have 1/2 of it done tonight.

That sweater is TOO cute! LOVE that yarn - what kind is it? Today I was thinking of starting a sweater for one of my boys and putting down the baby blanket (what was I thinking knitting a blanket!). You'll have to try a neck down sweater - no seams to sew!
Cute sweater. Nice job!
I know Kent, I can't wait to get that pattern in the CJ. I've done neck down t's for me, but nothing for them yet.
The yarn is James Brett (I think), Marble is the style. It is 100% acrylic, I liked it, but I'd much rather knit with cotton any day.
Great job!! So very cute. And he looks adorable in it.
Ooh, that is so cute. Great job.
Oh that looks terrific!! And your seaming will get better with time I promise - but as luck has it we can't see the seaming - and all we see is a perfect sweater... which is what it is all around!!!
Terrific!!! I love it!
