Been a while
I can't really figure out why I haven't been blogging lately. I can always walk away for a few minutes and post something, but the something hasn't been free flowing lately. We did however find out that Nick will be going to dayshift starting next Wednesday. He once again gets to act human and get some much deserved sleep. His hours will vary throughout the week, but will start by 10am and end by 10pm. Those are awesome hours. He'll get to hang out with the kids in the morning and then I'll be large and in charge in the afternoons. I actually worked my last crop night last night at Recollections. His new days off are Mondays and Tuesdays and with his hours I won't be able to go in for the crop night shifts. I'm actually going to miss it. Getting to see everyone be creative even if I can't be was so much fun. I always enjoyed getting to help other people with their love of this craft. Speaking of crafting, I got a few layouts done recently.

On the knitting front, I got out and met up with the SnB group at Changing Hands on Wednesday night, had a great time. Sorry, can't post any knitting updates, what I'm working on right now is a gift. Gifts, Gifts, Gifts, Kent sent me two more hanks of the Koigu Cosmos bringing my total number of skeins to 6. That is about 1000 yards of wonder. Now what to make, I was thinking about the lace shawl that was on the cover of KnitPicks the other month. I just don't know. I could make a few pairs of socks, but I'm not thinking so right now. Feel free to give me your input.

Ah go for the shawl! I remember that one and thought it was cool. YOu can do the 6 stiches on either side with alternating buttonholes (from the Convertible one I am doing)to change it up if you want. Glad you like the yarn. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
YAY for your hubby having better hours. And those layouts are so pretty! The caught in the act one is my fave. Your boys are so sweet.
