Awesome mail day

I meant to check the mail yesterday, but for whatever reason the day got away from me and I didn't get to it. We have a community mailbox so I can't just walk outside the house, I have to actually put on shoes and gather the kids up so it isn't something I just willy nilly decide to do. for those of you who may not have to do this, you are really lucky. I guess the community and the Post office decides who gets a community mailbox and who gets individual ones. We didn't luck out.

So I go and open the mailbox today and I have two great packages. The first is from my Secret Pal, who goes by the initials TJ. She is so awesome. I got part scrapbooking, part knitting and some chocolate. Here is the picture of all of the goodies:


There are two balls of 100% cotton yarn (the colors are awesome and the yarn is really soft), Knit n'Style magazine(hopefully I'll get to open it tonight), stickers for the kids scrapbook pages, a Cadbury caramello and a Tootsie Roll lipbalm. I took the picture when the cadbury bar was still intact, this is no longer the case.

The second package contained two new Addi's in size 4 and 6 that I bought for my mom off of eBay. I go through the same guy each time, his eBay id is jeff_wonderland. He has awesome prices and ships pretty fast considering they are being sent from Hong Kong. She is going to knit me Mariposa. I got 10 balls of SWTC Optimum in DK weight, dark purple from the last warehouse sale and it will be perfect for this project.
