Weekend

This weekend was really good. We started out on Saturday by heading up to my grandparents house in Scottsdale to visit with them and my great aunt Corinne, the boys great great aunt. She was visiting from Florida/New Jersey for the week. She is very active with her friends in the community and it shows, full of life. Awesome lady. We haven’t had any pictures with my brother for a while, so I took full advantage of it and got a great family picture. The neighbor across the street was working in her garage and she was so sweet and took a group photo for us.

We then went to Jessica Knits. The store is basically down the street from my grandparents house. Actually I was able to see the shopping center when I had to turn around in their cul-de-sac. I knew they would have the yarn that I wanted to give to my secret pal. I was also hoping that they had the Blue Sky cotton that I wanted to use for the teddy bear for our friends in California having twins. I lucked out, they had everything that I was looking for and a bit more. I could have spent half the day in that store shopping, but Nathan was getting ancy and so was Jared. Illanna was working so I got to chat with her a bit. Jessica even tried to entertain Jared which was awesome.

Malabrigo goes to secret pal, the two skeins of pink cotton are for the Bobbi Bear and the koigu will be for socks (once I find a pattern I want to use). The cashmerino was from a different trip to Fiber Factory and will be for baby booties for the same twins (due in april).

I then went to work and worked the crop. The ladies who were there Saturday night were so much fun, they were all working on the cutest pages.

Sunday was an easy day, nothing much interesting. I’ll show you knitting pics soon. I’m still working on the front of Nathan’s sweater, just a few more inches and then I’m done.

You need to stop posting these fabulous photos of all that yummy yarn! I don't even knit (or crochet or do that spinning(?) thing) but this stuff makes me WANT TO! I don't need another addiction, Michelle, REALLY I DON'T!
