Gone

So the mini van was sold in the afternoon and not to me. Oh well. As soon as one is brought in, they are sold, so I'm going to just have to keep pestering the dealerships. I have two weeks before I really need one so I'm sure I'll find something before then.

Last night I was going to go to the dealership, but instead went to Coffee Rush for knitting. I had a blast, there was a great big group last night. I stayed there way too late, I'm so tired today. I worked on the Ballet Tee from Loop-d-Loop and the Clapotis a bit. I got done with one set of increases on the Clapotis. Once I finish the Ballet T, I'm going to work on the Clapotis until it is done, no stopping or distraction, yeah right.

Decisions, Decisions

We are going to be buying a Honda Odyssey. The decision comes to which one will we get. The $$$ get into our account tomorrow so looking today seems stupid, but since we are going to buy a Certified Used one, we can make a deal today and pay tomorrow. There must be a run on them lately, every one that I have seen on the internet is gone by the time I call on it. I'm going to look at one tonight. The only problem then would be no knitting in exchange for screwing around trying to get a deal on a car. Stress vs. Stress-free. If we didn't need this van so damn bad, I'd say knitting hands-down. We have two weeks until Jared starts preschool and since I have to cart three kids around on those days, this has become a necessity.

Saturday Scrapbooking Extravaganza

Andrea and I had such a blast at Scrapbooks, ETC. We were there from 5-11pm, we were served Papa Johns pizza, plenty of Dr. Pepper and cakes from Costco. What could be better. I got five pages done while we were there and then another page done the next day. If I haven't gotten any knitting done in the last few days it is because I'd been planning for this outing.

Here are the finished pages:

FO-Tank top

I like how it turned out, I just wish it fit me. It needs to be a bit larger around and definitely a few inches longer. Live and learn. I used Moda Dea Ticker tape for this, used almost four balls.

Okay, Okay, Okay

Way too long since my last update. Life gets in the way of blogging, as it should. The kids have kept me very busy. Nathan's birthday was on the 2nd, I can't believe our baby is already a year old. His personality is coming through more and more every day, it is just amazing. I've got a ton of pics to share with everyone. There are some birthday pictures and some completed scrapbook pages. Knitting pictures will come tomorrow when I can get my hubby to take a few of me wearing my newly finished (doesn't fit) tanktop.

The scrapbook pages are first. For all of you that aren't in the scrapbooking know, I scraplift most of my layouts. That means that I take bits and pieces from other people's layouts and use them for my own. Most of the time, I just use the design as a jumping off point. I love picking out everything that I want on the page, but sometimes, I just can't get it to look right. This is where scraplifting comes into play.

Birthday pictures are pretty self-explanatory. Either he is opening presents or eating cake.

Hope you all enjoyed. Remember, check back tomorrow when there will be pictures of me in a tank.
